Mining Exploration
TDD has long-range lidar equipment that allows the mapping to work at higher altitude with greater efficiency.
Drone data can benefit construction and mining firms in multiple ways. It can be collected safely, quickly, and accurately to help companies keep track of their on-site progress, streamline communication and decision-making, spot for errors, build detailed maps and 3D models, and keep on-the-ground staff away from dangerous areas.
Deploying drones can save hundreds of thousands during a project life cycle and can be far more efficient than traditional methods - taking a matter of hours to collect data, instead of days, in some cases.

Why do we use drones?
There are obvious benefits when using a drone for exploration and mapping.
-
Points of view can be at any height necessary to gather the needed image or data.
-
Images can be repeated using GPS waypoints in order to have consistent perspectives and time lapse updates.
-
We can repeatably fly a grid capturing a precise set of images and data that is processed resulting in orthorectified images and 3d surface models that can be highly accurate.

Our Deliverables

Map & Topographic
3D DATA COLLECTION
Accurate 3D Data collection provided in many formats.

Exploration
REMOTE SENSING WITH MR
Radiant imaging and geographic analysis

Photogrammetry
DOCUMENTATION
Volume calculations, hydrology reports, and planimetrics
Powerful Exploration
-
Powerful reconnaissance tool for the evaluation of large and small land tracts
-
Can be used for frontier level exploration or to expand existing orebodies
-
Effective for delineating areas of concentration within a placer deposit
-
Individual metals can be identified and delineated - such as in depositional systems that contain both gold and silver
-
The detailed mapping of veins and ore bodies helps define targets early, greatly reducing exploration and sampling expenses.

LIDAR Mapping in mining
We utilize a compact and lightweight payload with improved detection range and efficiency, featuring an FOV greater than 70°. Its triple-echo and dual-scanning modes are ideal for use cases such as mapping, volume calculations, 3d contour topographic models and Magnetic Resonance Imaging applications.

Work with us
Through detailed methods of crew resource management and pre-flight checks we are proud to hold a perfect safety record. Our pilots are FAA licensed industry operators who are highly specialized in every aspect of aerial production and data collection.
